Airline Reservations
The most convenient airport to use is DCA National Airport (also referred to as Reagan Airport). The most cost effective and convenient way to travel from the airport to Rockville is using Metro. Your trip will require one transfer between the yellow and red line. The cost of a one-way ticket is approximately $7, depending on the time of the day you travel. Find more information here. Plan out your trip using Metro’s Trip Planner. Cambria is located right by the Rockville Metro Station. One way taxi fare from DCA to Rockville is approx. $55.
From DCA National Airport, please locate the Metro Station. You will purchase a fare card at the machine prior to boarding. We suggest a $20 farecard – this allows you roundtrip with a little extra to go out one night. You will board a YELLOW line train on right side of the metro station –look for signs that say “Downtown DC and Convention Center.” You will take this train to the Gallery Place – China Town Metro stop. Look for signs that have a large red Circle and say Trains to Shady Grove. You will go down an escalator to the lower level. Board a RED train headed in the direction of Shady Grove or Grosvenor – both are the same. You are headed for the Rockville Station. Once you arrive at the Rockville station you will exit the “fare gate” and turn to your left. You are going up to the level of the metro station where the sky bridge that crosses Rockville Pike is – there are elevators or a flight of stairs. You walk across the skybridge, walk straight along Rockville Town Center and towards the Regal Movie marquis that is about 1000 feet ahead on your left. Walk to the Marquis and stop. Turn to your right and you will see the Cambria entrance about 300 feet ahead of you. Most of this walk is covered and all of it is very safe and well lit. Should you want to take a cab from the Rockville Metro station, the fare will be no more than $10.00 at your own expense.
